December 8th, 2013

Our last day in Berlin began with a museum visit.  The museum was home to the bust of Queen Nefertiti which not surprisingly you could not take a picture so one will be so kindly provided by the internet.  The museum was a very odd mix of times and cultures that we were not sure how they all connected but it was interesting nonetheless.

Our last stop before heading back to Prague was the East Side Gallery.  I could have spent hours wandering along the wall but sadly we only got to hop off the bus look really quick and get back on.  It was wonderful street art and I enjoyed every bit of it.

Oh, wait, we did have one more stop.  Dresden.  Our stop at Dresden was supposed to be 2.5 hours but it was getting cold and it was raining so our stop was cut to an hour and a half.  This meant we spent the first half hour having a guided tour and the other hour running around trying to see as much of Dresden as possible.  It was beautiful city I just wish we would have had a little bit more time, but I guess that means I'll just have to go back.  After all the running around was done we hopped on the bus and headed back to Prague, thus ending my second to last weekend in Europe.
