After waking up at 8:15 everyday for the last two weeks it was finally time for some much needed sleeping in on a Saturday morning. Once I finally made my way out of bed around noon, I was ready to go cross some things off my to do list, the first being the Jewish cemetery in town. I made my way across town in the surprisingly hot weather that I was painfully overdressed for until I made it to the Jewish Quarter. After wandering around outside I finally found the entrance but it was locked... Saturday is the Jewish day of rest, which I was blissfully unaware of, so the cemetery was closed. After my first failure I decided I'll go to my favorite fresh market that is over by the castle, this was a very poor choice. The large mobs of tourists following mini flags of their country were out in the masses. Once I made my way to where the market should have been, well, apparently the market doesn't operate on the weekends. Strike two for me. After that I was ready to go home but thought I'll stop by this gift shop place for some stuff I want. I go in, all excited, bring all my stuff up, she bags it for me and I go to get my wallet. I search through my whole backpack trying to find it...it's, of course, not there. Strike three for me. I try to explain to the woman (who does not speak any english) that I have no money. As she was glaring at me I just walked out and headed home. After some time to recover it was time for museum night! We headed out to the first place our Czech buddy wanted to go which was a chateau way out of town. It was an old home that had been turned into a museum and was complete with a hedge maze in the back. Sadly, we didn't know much about the place because there was not very much written in English but picture speak a thousand words so here you go.
